Anna Grafov is a senior at the University of Maryland.
She is a senior studying Physics at the University of Maryland. She is currently researching the nonlinear optical properties of noble metal nanoparticles in the lab of Dr. John T. Fourkas. She is also working in the plasma theory group with Dr. Bill Dorland to develop a reduced model of plasma turbulence in tokamak fusion reactors. Anna is an active member of SPS and Sigma Pi Sigma, and is currently serving as a senior representative to the UMD Physics Undergraduate Committee. She is also working on outreach with the UMD Physics Department, and hopes to create programs to inspire children to find their passion for physics.
